\u00a0“<\/span><\/span>The Master’s Vessel<\/span><\/b>\u00a0“<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When the Lord God needs people to help do His work here on earth, He is in search of those who will heed to the calling of their name.<\/span><\/p>\n

He can use anyone in any field, any circumstances, or any walks of life, whether rich or poor, whether their in sickness or in excellent health, any country, any city, anywhere.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some people seem to think that God only uses certain type people, but He uses anyone who will listen to his Audible Voice. Are you willing to be a Vessel for Christ?<\/span><\/p>\n

I have included a poem I found years ago, I am unsure of when I found this, but I have included it on this website and I pray it blesses you and you call it your own!<\/span><\/p>\n

The Master’s Vessel<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

The Master was searching for a Vessel to use<\/span>
\nOn the shelf there were many which one would he choose<\/span>
\n“Take me”….said the gold one, I am all shiny and bright<\/span>
\n“I am of great value and I do things just right<\/span><\/em>
\nMy beauty and luster will outshine all the rest<\/span><\/em>
\nAnd for someone like you, Master, I would be the best.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The Master passed on with no word at all<\/span>
\nHe looked at a silver urn, narrow and tall<\/span>
\nI’ll serve you, dear Master, I’ll pour out your wine.<\/span>
\nAnd be at your table whenever you dine.<\/span>
\n“My lines are so graceful, my carvings so true,<\/span><\/em>
\nMy silver will evermore complement you.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Unheeding, the Master passed on to the brass,<\/span>
\nIt was wide-mouthed and shallow and polished like glass,<\/span>
\n“Here, here “cried the vessel, I know I will do,<\/span><\/em>
\nPlace me on your table for all men to view.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

“Look at Me,”<\/em> cried the goblet of crystal so clear,<\/span>
\nMy transparency shows off my contents so dear,<\/span>
\nBut I’m fragile, don’t break me, and I’ll serve you with PRIDE,<\/span>
\nI’m sure you’ll be happy with me at your side.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Master passed on to a vessel of wood,<\/span>
\nPolished and carved it so solidly stood,<\/span>
\n“You may use ME, dear Master,”<\/em> the wooden bowl cried,<\/span>
\n“But I’d rather be used to serve fruit, please, no bread!”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Then the Master looked down and saw a vessel of clay,<\/span>
\nHelpless and broken at His feet it lay,<\/span>
\nNo hope had that vessel that the Master might choose<\/span>
\nTo cleanse it and mend it, to fill and to use,<\/span>
\n“Ah, This is the vessel I’ve been hoping for to find<\/span><\/em>
\nI will mend it and use it and make it ALL MINE.”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

I need not the vessel with pride in itself,<\/span>
\nNot the one so narrow to sit on the shelf,<\/span>
\nNot the one that is big-mouthed and shallow and loud,<\/span>
\nNot the one who trusts IT can do things just right,<\/span>
\nBut THIS plain, earthen vessel, filled with MY POWER and MIGHT.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then gently, He lifted the vessel of clay,<\/span>
\nMended it and cleansed it and filled it that day,<\/span>
\nHe spoken to it kindly, “There’s work you must do.<\/em><\/span>
\nYou just pour out to other’s , and I’ll pour out to you !”<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
