The Bible uses the word mountain to mean different things: a geographical location such as Mount Zion (Psalm 2:6<\/b>); an example of stability (Psalm 30:7<\/b>); and, a barrier, hindrance, or obstacle (Zechariah 4:7<\/b>).<\/span><\/p>\n

As a disciple of Christ, you are not guaranteed an easy life. You may face many mountains\u2013trials, difficulties, and hardships\u2013throughout your life.<\/span><\/p>\n

How do you respond when facing what appears to be an overwhelming obstacle or problem? Do you panic? Do you feel discouraged? Do you feel like giving up?<\/span><\/p>\n

When God calls you to a task, He assumes the responsibility of removing the hindrances that would keep you from succeeding.\u00a0“This is the word of the Lord . . . \u2018Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit\u2019”<\/b>\u00a0(Zechariah 4:6<\/b>).<\/span><\/p>\n

What do you feel is looming before you like an impossible mountain? Work, relationships, finances, health, the future?<\/span><\/p>\n

Isaiah 41:10<\/b>\u00a0provides words of comfort for us to hold close to our hearts:\u00a0“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous hand.”<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n

No matter what you are facing or how easy or difficult the task may be\u2013always look toward God. He is your eternal, unfailing hope! (Psalm 123:2<\/b>)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
