Scriptures – Tithes And Offering

Give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to youScriptures – Tithes And Offering

I read on facebook one day that a man was telling his congregation that if they didn’t tithe that they wasn’t going to heaven. I have not seen yet in the Bible where it says this.

Yes, we all Christians need to give to their churches, ministries, and Fellowship of the Jews, and it is robbing God and that is a sin, but I do not think at all God is not going to allow us in heaven if we are unable to.

This is a misleading preacher, and those churches that always talk about giving and things like this man was telling his church I do my best to stay away from.

All Preachers are to teach us all what the BIBLE states and teach us about Jesus and heaven and hell, but this one I seen it sounds like all he wants is people’s money. God wants us to give 10% of our income the first day of week, but correct me if I am wrong and I will apologize if it says we will not go to heaven when I don’t think the BIBLE says that.

I have listed, many verses from the BIBLE that is on Tithing & Giving and if you read them there is nothing there that states people won’t go to heaven. But, if we don’t give to the Lord through our churches and ministries and to the poor we are robbing GOD, so at least do your best to give.

Matthew 28:19-20 ESV   — Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

James 1:27 ESV   — Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

Romans 11:35 ESV   — “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?”

Romans 1:16 ESV   — For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Matthew 7:21-23 ESV   — “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

Philippians 3:3-6 ESV   — For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh— though I myself have reason for confidence in the flesh also. If anyone else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee; as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to righteousness under the law, blameless.
