Asking Seeking Knocking 1 & 2

When we pray and we are asking God to do something in our lives, we ask , we seek , we knockAsking Seeking Knocking 1 & 2

Luke 11:9

When we pray and we are asking God to do something in our lives, we ask , we seek , we knock.

But, when we do, we must be sincere and we must believe that our prayer reached heaven. We have to be committed to God, and be ready to do more and do our best to do it faithfully.

God, will send His Holy Spirit to touch each of us in a special way. Continue to ask, seek and knock and we will find the answers we are seeking.

Believe and have faith in God that He will do His part and it will be wonderful. Always be giving, showing Thanks to Him and not doubt. Keep giving Him Praise!

 Asking Seeking Knocking 2

Luke 11:9-13 And Matthew 7:7-11, these references will be very helpful to us and it encourages us to keep on asking and seeking, and of course knocking, not just once in a while but all the time, continually, day in day out, weekly, monthly, 365 days a year, so we can always have what we need.

Here’s some questions for you, which Joyce asked on the topic from her Bible and they really are great questions!

1. How many times do we stay awake , all night long wrestling with our problems and loosing sleep over them, instead of simply casting our cares upon the Lord and asking Him to meet our needs — then trusting Him to do so?

2. How often do we try to make something happen in our lives without asking God for help? How often do we try to prosper in some area without asking God for prosperity? And, how often do we try to handle our own problems without asking God to work them out for us?

I know I can relate to all those questions, sometimes the devil will attack our minds when he know we are trying to sleep with our pasts, or things that happened that day to stop us from sleeping, and from praying or seeking God to help us. Like Joyce Meters says:

Our mistakes is failing to ask and seek and knock failing to seek God, Our Loving Heavenly Father to give us all the good things that we ask of Him.

We struggle and frustrate ourselves with works of the flesh when we should humble ourselves under God’s Almighty hand knowing that in due time, He will bring to pass what is right for us. 1 Peter 5:5-6

I know by all the times in my past and present that there were many times I would loose sight and I would get so frustrated because I pray, pray and pray and I’m not seeing any answers to my prayers, but deep in my heart I know God is there and He’s hearing my prayers, my pleas, and I am seeking and I am asking and knocking.

No matter what we are in need of, our needs are in God’s hands, we know God is there with us and He’s listening to us.

Matthew 7:11, Jesus says, “If you then evil as you are know how to give good gifts and advantageous gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give and advantageous things to those who keep asking Him.”

Luke 11:13, Jesus says “…..how much mire will your heavenly father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him.”

If, you will look at both verses you will notice that both say that if we who are evil know how to give good gifts, how much more will our Heavenly Father who is perfect be willing to bless His children with good things.

The important part is “GOOD THINGS” God wants to give to all of us is His Holy Spirit. The best gift anyone could ever dream of having! Ask God to give you the greatest gift of His Holy Spirit!
