2 Kings 20:17
If, any have prayed and got answers then you will see the awesomeness in this. God, answers our prayers may be not when we want him to, but He will do as He says He will do.
In 2 Kings 20:17, God answered Hezekiah’s prayer, he prayed by healing him, plus on top of that God added 15 years to his life. We all know God don’t always do this and answer this fast, but this time he did.
Hezekiah, suffered greatly through all he went through and all though God did answer his prayer, it wasn’t God’s best for him.
We all need to understand and also remember that the only best way is God’s way, the safe way policy. Our prayers needs to acknowledge that we do not really know in most cases in our lives that we know best for us, but God does. We all need to be willing to say “ I pray my prayers be in your will, not in my will “ or whatever you want Lord I’ll do.”
Proverbs 16:9 says, “A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps.”
Never forget who’s will it is, and allow Him to answer His way – His timing!
